1977 Lotus Elite 501
Very original car. 51000 miles. Genuine “black badge model” (built for a Lotus employee). Very original except for MkII front spoiler and front seats recovered in leather. My mid-life crisis is largely over (well, shifted on to bikes!), so now it is your turn for an eye catching, little red sports car. Dramatic wedge shape. Cute as a button, goes and sounds great with 2-litre twin cam engine/twin 45 Dellorto carbs and stainless steel exhaust. Current club reg. Electronic ignition. Adjustable Spax Krypton gas dampers. Upgraded stereo system. Twin adjustable Kenlow cooling fans. Removable sunroof with storage bag. Just replaced all six universal joints including the drive shaft pair. New diff and gearbox seal, brakelines and fuel lines whilst I was there! History file, workshop manual, brochures and magazine articles, various spares also available. Priced for quick sale $16,000.
