Saturday 14 ** Portarlington Mussel Festival 2012 **
The Festival showcases the food and wine producers of the Bellarine Region and especially the mussel industry based in Portarlington. Time: 10.00 am – 5.00 pm. Contact Lindsay Noss on 0409 254265 if you would like to display your Classic Car.

Sunday 15 RACV Great Australian Rally - Melbourne to Mornington
Organised by The All British Classics Car Club. All proceeds go to Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Cost $35.00 per entry, entry forms via www.greataustralianrally.com.au  or contact RCCA. As in previous years the RCCA will have an area marked (20 places only). This event is an early morning start but a great day is had by all who attend and we shouldn't have any dust in the car park due to the wet weather we have had in the past months! A number of members are meeting at Stud Park Rowville.

Thursday 26 Australia Day - RACV Federation Vehicle Display Day
The Historic Vehicle Display is a part of the Australia Day celebrations in the city. Travel through Australia's motoring history on Australia Day. Cars will be displayed in Kings Domain.

Sunday 5 Ride a Rover and New Members Day
  While an opportunity for new members, have a ride in another Rover model, one that you may not own. This event will held at Kingswood College, Cnr. Station Street and Piedmont Street, Box Hill South (Mel:61 C1). Entrance to the leafy car park is in Piedmont Street (first gate from Station Street). It is planned to have a range of models of Rovers to ride in. Owners are request to arrive around 9:30 a.m. Riders are request to arrive from 10:00 a.m. Please note that only owners will be driving.
Friday 10 Monthly Meeting and BBQ
  Traditional year opening BBQ followed by the first Monthly Meeting of 2012 - Club Rooms. BBQ starting time 7pm. At 8pm the Monthly meeting will commence.
Sunday 12 **Macedon Ranges Picnic At Hanging Rock**
  25th Annual Picnic at Hanging Rock Woodend. Organised by Macedon Ranges and District Motor Club - a show designed for classic vehicles. Cost $20 per vehicle, Motorcycles and pedestrians $5.00. Only pre 1987 (25 years and older) will be permitted to be on display and enter the event via the main gate. Whilst vehicles 1987 and later can enter via the general parking gates. Guest speaker from Axident will be showing members how you can remove small dents from the panels of our lovely Rovers.

Sunday 25 Visit to Fire Services Museum
Address: 39 Gisborne Street, East Melbourne (Cnr Gisborne St & Victoria Pde) Cost: $6.00 per person, tour will be 1 1/2 hour. Meeting time: 9.45am, tour will commence 10.00 am. View the Heritage listed Fire Station (1893) and see the unique collection of vintage vehicles and equipment - great for all ages! Followed by lunch - to be advised.

Easter weekend National Rove Queensland
The Biennial National Rove 2012 from 6th to 9th April: Following on the success of the 2010 National Rove hosted by the Rover Car Club of South Australia, the next National Rove is scheduled for Easter 2012 hosted by The Rover Owner's Association of Queensland.

The Rover Owner's Association of Queensland invites you to join them to indulge your taste buds sampling the fine wines and gourmet foods of Queensland's famous "Granite Belt" area. The Rove will be based in Stanthorpe.

The Queensland club has prepared a Web Page with full details of Registration, Itinerary and suggested accommodation alternatives for the Rove. Registration must be by 29 February 2012.

Sunday 29 AOMC Classic Showcase and RCCA Display Day
  Flemington Racecourse Carpark, Celebrating Jaguar Car Club 50 years in Victoria, the MG & the Mercedes Benz Car Clubs' Annual Concours and the Austin Healey Club display. Friday 11 Monthly Meeting Club Rooms
    Guest Speaker Mr Rodger Howard from Howard Instruments will give a presentation to the club on speedometer, tachometer and gauge repair and restoration.
     
Sunday 20 National Motoring Heritage Day
    The National Motoring Heritage Day supported by the Australian Historic Motoring Federation and the AOMC. RCCA details TBA.
     
Sunday 20 PVCC Picnic At Ross Tasmania
    Organised by Post Vintage Car Club of Tasmania, another Event for the Tasmanian RCCA members and other Rover fans. Last year there were more than 500 vehicles on display, probably the largest turnout of Vintage and Classic cars in Tasmania. We are planning to have a Rover Club display, so anyone coming please advise and we will organise a place to meet outside Ross and arrive at the display point together. Email the Webmaster if planning to attend.
